Massive reactions as Pastor instructs members to masturbate in Church
Ghana Electrical Contractors Association is appealing to the government to henceforth give them direct contracts instead of awarding contracts to building contractors directly.
The Association is however lamenting on how the government has for some years now sidelined them from performing their usual duties by awarding them government contracts directly.
The Association is alleging that the government is not giving them direct electrical contracts but always awarding to the building contractors which is a key challenge to their duties and also the cause of frequent fire outbreak.
The National President of the Association Mr Awal Sakib Mohammed who made this known to the media during presentation of awards to their members in Kumasi said most of the fire outbreak in government institutions and other domestic houses is because they award every contract to uncertified contractors who use inferior electrical cables for wiring.
He then urged government to do the needful to separate them from building contractors and award direct electrical contracts to them since they are qualified l expert in the field. He added that if the government continue to award electrical contact to unqualified people, it will result in fire outbreak.
Mr Divine Osei Mentah, the Ashanti Regional President of the Ghana Electrical Contractors Association explained to the media the motive behind the honouring of it’s members saying some of the members need to be awarded for their hard work since the establishment of the association.
Mr Divine then appealed to all Ghanaians to seek assistance from a qualified electrician when ever they need help for their own safety.
