NPP Government Will Be Sworn Into Office on January 7th 2025 – NPP NY Chairman
The chairman of the New Patriotic Party New York Chapter, USA, Mr. Frank Antwi has acclaim that the NPP will win the 2024 elections and that their government will be sworn into power January 7th 2025.
Speaking at the Patomu-Nsuaye Event of Asanteman Association of New York, USA Incorporated on January 7th this year, he touted the achievements of the Nana Addo Bawumia led administration in the Ashanti Region.
According to him, the NPP has developed the Ashanti Region more than any other government in the Fourth Republic.
“If we were able to stay in opposition for over thirty years, then, the NDC can also stay in opposition for fifty years. Under 1D1F, over fifty four factories has been constructed and working in the Ashanti Region out of the total of 257 across the country. The same region has benefited from the year of roads than any other region”, he said.
The government has since 2017 completed over 1,180kms of roads in the Ashanti Region. These involves 264kms highway roads, 495kms urban roads and 421kms feeder roads.
The work on the Suame Interchange project which is in fulfilment of a pledge the president made during a tour of the Ashanti Region in 2021 is steadily progressing. The project consist of a four tier interchange at the Suame Roundabout, with overpasses at the Abrepo, Krofrom, Anomangye, Magazine New Road and Abusuakruwa Junctions.
The New Patriotic Party government led by Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo when released the list of 1 District 1 Factory projects, we saw about 54 factories, some operational and others at various levels of completion.
The Bodukwan Farms Limited at Atwima Kwahoma District, Kasapreko Ghana-Ashanti Beverage Limited at Kwasaso, Rider Iron and Steel Ghana Limited, Asante Akyem. Others are Springs and Bolts Company Limited at Asokwa, Prefos Ghana Limited at Ejisu Juaben, Unijay Garment Limited located at Asokwa among others are all in the Ashanti Region.
President Akuffo Addo revealed that Under the Agenda 111 project, his government is constructing sixteen (16) district hospitals in the Ashanti Region.
The beneficial districts Trede, Kokoben, Boamang, Manso Adubia, Mankraso, Barekese etc. These projects are all at various levels of completion.
The NPP New York Chapter Chairman, Mr Frank Antwi, who led some party members to honour the invitation to the event called on all Ghanaians in the Diaspora especially USA to keep faith with the elephant party for it is the only party that can develop Ghana.
