Reality: The benefit of ‘bofrot’ business, widow tells her story
Madam Acheampong Christy, a woman with Fifteen years experience in buffloaf/bofrot(puff puff) selling has shared her sweet-pain story.
According to the woman, speaking today, Tuesday, January 11, 2022 on ‘Work and Happiness’, a sub youth and unemployed motivated program on Silver FM’s Omanbapa Morning Show chaired by Nana Ampratwum, lost her husband in the early stages.
She said, the husband left her with Four Children.
As a single mother committed to the welfare of her children, she started selling ‘ice water’ on the roadside and in traffic for years but was not helping.
She later diverted into a buffloaf business at Bantama in the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA).
“The beginning, it was uneasy but later, became easy”.
She unearthed that, things started moving on well for her and began making huge profits.
“I’ve been in the business for over 15 years now and to be frank, I’ve benefited a lot in the bofrot work” Ante Christy said.
I’m able to cater for all my four children with this same business.
“Two have traveled to abroad, the other two are currently in the tertiary in the country.
And I’m paying their fees and other bills with the bofrot work I’m doing now.”, She stressed.
In conclusion, the Widow, encouraged Ghanaians especially the young ones to engage in business like that to earn a good living.
