Shocking: At least, I pick two dead bodies in my community every month- Assembly member reveals

The Assembly member for Afful Nkwanta electoral area in the Kumasi Municipality, Hon. Daniel Otuo Acheampong has shockingly revealed to the press that, there would not be a single month without discovering dead bodies in the electoral area.

According to Hon. Otuo, they discover dead bodies in the communities every month, specifically, at the Children’s park, which is within the electoral area.

Confirming the revelation on a Kumasi based radio station, Silver FM’s morning show on Monday, January 10, 2022, the worried assembly member affirmed the news saying, “at least, I pick two dead bodies at the Children’s Park every month”.

He explained to the host of the show, Nana Ampratwum that, the situation is very disturbing and has created fear and panic in the communities within the electoral area.

Mr. Otuo Acheampong added that, passersby are sometimes attacked and killed in the process by their assailants at the children’s park, and dumped in the bush.

He also disclosed on the show monitored by filasconews that, the drug addicts popularly preferred as ‘Junkies’ died through their drug activities and their bodies remained in the same place.

The assembly member Continued that, wanted and injured criminals by the police went for hiding at the place and sometimes die there.

He has therefore appealed to Nana Nananom, government and other stakeholders to intervene and develop the children’s park to alleviate the danger o the people.
