Finally: Omanhene joins Sompa FM in Kumasi
Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye, the Former ace broadcaster with Kumasi based Kessben 93.3MHz, has finally joined Sompa FM at Kumasi-Suame, near the Mbrom Hotel of the Suame Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The maakye-morning show host of Kessben, early this year resigned from his former station over yet to be substantiated facts.
It was earlier rumored that, the ‘Food for Taught’ man will join ABN’s Radio One at Abrepo-Junction but as to what led for him to swerve Radio 1, is not yet known.
Announcing his Facebook page on Friday, Omanhene posted a sticker of him and his new Akan-Speaking station, Sompa FM and wrote: I AM OMANHENE YAW ADU BOAKYE. JOIN ME ON SOMPA FM-93.1MHz.
He added, “food for taught coming your way soon on Sompa 93.1”.
Sompa FM is a new station in the Ashanti Regional’s capital.
