Rotary Club constructs six-unit classroom blocks for Adadease JHS,hands over keys to Gov’t

Rotary Club International on Saturday, December 18, 2021 handed over a Six unit classroom blocks constructed for Adadease Junction Junior High School (JHS) in Tain District of the Bono Region to government.
The keys to the blocks were handed over to the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Hon Dr. Lucy Acheampong on behalf of the District Education Directorate at a brief ceremony.
Speaking to the press after handing over ceremony, the DCE for Tain, expressed gratitude to the Club for investing greatly in education and health in the District.
She disclosed that, the NPP government is Committed to creating enabling environment for the operations of Rotary Club International adding that, “Oliver twist”, the club should also aid staffs with accommodation.
Mrs. Lucy finally assured the club with her unflinching support saying, “I’m at your service and my doors are always opened for you”
The District Education Director, Mr. Richard Akorsa Addo also admonished parents to make their wards education their top-most priority in order to get the best out of them in future.
He cautioned the people to practice a culture of maintenance of the edifice.
Finally, on behalf of the Club, the Sunyani local President, Mr. Johnson Tsagli -Awor Mawuli thanked the Odikro of the community for providing the land for the construction of the building.
He said, toilet facility, teachers bungalow and electricity would all be attached to the structure.
The Club at the same occasion donated 168 furniture to the school to help learning and teaching.
The Assembly member of the area, Hon Sampson Kyere, thanked all who had a stake in the project for making it a reality. He promised that, the community will do everything possible to keep eyes for the development of the school in the area.
The occasion was graced by many dignitaries in the area.
