Ashanti Regional Fire Service has dropped emergency lines that the service describe as ‘direct’ calls to their office in the region without national interference during emergency situations.
Putting the lines out on Monday, December 13, 2021, on a Kumasi based radio station, Silver FM’s Morning Show dubbed Omanbapa hosted by Nana Ampratwum, DO3 Addai Peter (PRO and Safety Officer) for the service in the Ashanti Region with two other officers urged dwellers in the region to keep the numbers close to them and call anytime there is an emergency.
ADO2 Obeng, off the officers in the studio mentioned that, these lines would eliminate the previous stress where and emergency complain in the Ashanti Region has to be directed to national i.e Accra before Kumasi Office would be alerted adding that, “this problem will be a thing of the past if residents calls the following numbers”, she said monitored by filasconews.
