A Self acclaimed man of God by name, Odiyifour Agyei has been arrested by the Moro Market Police for gunning down two person at Ahwiaa-Anyinam in the Kwabre East District of the Ashanti Region.
The 41 year old self styled man of God shot his brother in-law and a church member during the weekend.
Eye witnesses speaking on Silver FM’s Omanbapa morning show in Kumasi chaired by Nana Ampratwum on Tuesday, December 7,2021, monitored by Filasconews said the unfortunate occurrence happened over divorce.
They said, the wife of the false Prophet came to the house with three other relatives including her brother to help park her things from the so called man of God’s room after divorce but Odiyifour Agyei who at that moment was counselling a female church member in front of the house prevented them from entering and parking the properties of the divorced wife.
This according to the witnesses resulted into a scuffle between the two parties leading into the pulling out of a gun by the pastor.
The pastor then shot the brother in law in the thigh.
However, the bullet splitted and landed into the lower abdomen of the innocent church member who had come for counselling from the pastor.
They bled profusely and were later rushed to the hospital whiles the suspect took to his heels leaving the gun at the scene.
On Sunday, December 5, 2021, the suspect was spotted at Tafo by the wife and drew the attention of the police. The police without hesitating followed it up and arrested him.
As at the time of filing this report, Tuesday, December 7, 2021, the so called pastor is in the custody of the Moro Market Police in the Tafo Municipality of the Ashanti Region whiles the two victims are receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
