Media General has announced their unflinching supports to their journalists and broadcasters to be fearless, forthright and honest in their professional outlook always.

This was contained in a statement signed by Christopher Koney, Group Head of Corporate Affairs at Media General over the arrest of one of their broadcasters, Godsbrain Smart popularly known as Captain Smart by the Nima police today, December 2,2021, over inciteful comments on air.

The media giant believes and convinced that, a careful review of the entire statement made by Captain Smart would reveal that, it did not amount to the threats and stability of the country as claimed by the police.
