This 2022 budget is a panacea to all our problems- Information Minister

The Information Minister, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah is optimistic the 2022 budget statement read by the Minister of Finance last week is a saviour to the country’s challenges.
He said, the main focus of the budget in question is developing the nation in terms of generating funds to upgrade our roads, better livelihood, creating jobs and pushing local industries in the country.
The Ofoase Ayiribi Member of Parliament (MP) speaking on the floor of Parliament during the debate on 2022 budget on November 24, 2021 asserted that, the new Electronic Levy (E levy) is a way of getting monies from the electronic platforms to help government carry out development.
He added, the brouhaha over the budget from section of the people especially the Minority are just misunderstanding of the e levy saying the electronic Platform is currently the lucrative and populous financial platform to tax so there will be a relief on the government.
He called on Ghanaians to side and corporate with the government to pay the necessary tax in order to develop Ghana.
