Buokrom Methuselah finally removed to pave way for road construction
filasconews last week reported about blocking of road by one Maame Serwaa at Buokrom-Estate, South Africa to be precised.
The said womam blocked the road with her provision store and halted the Construction of road on that stretch.
All efforts by the assembly to evict her or demolish container to pave way for the construction proved futile as some elements within the power line in the assembly refused to do their mandated job.
But Glory be to God, power from the higher authority i.e Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) took up the matter following a frequent broadcasting about the issue on the morning show of a local station, Silver FM, security operatives from KMA were sanctioned to get rid of any unwanted item from the road to give the green light for the construction.
As at the time of filing this report today, November 18, 2021, the assembly member of the area, Hon. Kwame Agyemang a.k.a Adwumawura has confirmed that, the road is cleared off now and the contractor is working vigorously on it.
“Now everything is okay now after your interception. KMA sent men to come and do the demolition and removal of the container and I’m speaking to you now, the road is cleared and the contractor is on it working as agreed”, Hon. Kwame Agyemang happily reiterated to the host of the program, Nana Ampratwum.
