The National Chairman for Consultative Council for Sand And Stone,PROTOA And GPRTU, Nana Adomah Baffour has reiterated their call to financial institutions for support , whilst the joint association launches new machine to assist their workers work effectively and deligently.
In an interview with the press on November 17, 2021, he appealed to financial institutions and other stakeholders to partner with them in order to help improve on their jobs.
“We have bought wheel loader to quicken our job, sometimes we have to employ several personnel so we decided to buy the machine so that we can efficiently improve on our work , honestly this has really help us but we need more hands on desk, we are calling for partnership deal from financial institutions”, he stated .
In addition , he urged their staff to remain law abiding on the highways , believing this can help prevent accidents.
“I will urge drivers to avoid wrong overtaken, they should not think because their trucks are bigger they won’t respect other drivers , I will plead with them to be law abiding”.
Moreover, he entreated the law enforcement agencies to ensure drivers , especially tipper trucks obeys the laws.
“The police must deal with any driver who goes contrary to the laws, they should bring them to book”,he concluded.
