To reduce GDP; focus on industrialization- Gov’t urged
An Economist, Mr. George Antwi Boasiako has advised government to keep eye on industrialization if he meant to reducing Gross Domestic Products (GDP) in the country.
GDP is referred to as the total of all value-added created funds in an economy locally.
The value-added means the value of goods and services that have been produced minus the value of the goods and services needed to produce them, the so-called intermediate consumption.
To the Economist, the only way government can general more funds is to focus and push industrialization agenda in Ghana adding that all sectors should be industrialized to create more jobs for the people.
He said it will also help to reduce importation and encourage exportation which will boost the country’s economy.
Touching on 1D1F, Mr. Antwi Boasiko admonished to the government to put more efforts in the policy as it can help fix the economy massively.
