Laws are there to protect but it doesn’t aid the indolent, Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSSAG) President, Mr. Alex Nartey has said.
Mr. Nartey who also doubles as National Coordinator for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) opined that, one should not sit aloof and expert the law to settle his/her problem but rise up and seek for the interpretation or testify the law in any matter they found themselves in.
He said people who always criticise and accuse judges over their verdict do so by mere words without proving. It is a lazy man’s approach to relax and expert the law to fighting for you, “follow the right procedure and no one can cheat or dupe you if you know your right”.
Mr. Alex Nartey was speaking on Silver FM, Kumasi base station’s morning show monitored by filasconews.com.
The ADR National Coordinator appealed to Ghanaians to get a bit knowledge about the Constitution to avoid been castigated in a wrong way.
“The law doesn’t aid the indolent. You have to push and it will work for you perfectly because our judicial system is not corrupt as speculated by some citizenry”, JUSSAG’s stressed.
