Menzgold customers have been urged not to rely on the State’s tactics to frustrate their agenda to collecting their funds from the CEO of the defunct Menzgold company, Nana Appiah Mensah a.k.a NAM 1.
To the Ashanti Regional Organiser of the Menzgold Customers, the government is just using the new court order by the police to arrest NAM 1 only to twist their move and disturb their petition before parliament.
Nana Appiah Mensah is to be arrested with two other accomplices by the police and arraigned before the Adentan Circuit Court.
The warrant was issued by the court on Thursday, November 4,2021 after the aforementioned name and his two accomplices failed to appear in court for allegedly defrauding some people.
Reacting to this, Mr. David Owusu, the Ashanti Regional Organiser of Menzgold Customers said, it is just a ploy to frustrate their procedure to refunding their monies from NAM 1.
“I will plead with my Menzgold Customers to turn a deaf ears to this directive because it is just a chameleon tactics to frustrate and flatter us”.
“The government has realised that, we are getting to the end of the year and therefore Menzgold Customers have to be kept mute in order not to make noise to frustrate government business through that court order. It is not new and news to us”, Mr. Owusu said on Silver FM’s morning show monitored by filasconews.com.
He disclosed that, the embattled CEO does not even respect the court as he always refuses to attend to court anytime the case is been held.
“If you call NAM 1 to appear in court 5×, he only appears 1”, Organiser Owusu fumed.
