A Bus with registration number GT 4215-17 coming from Nandom via Techiman to the direction of Kumasi clashed with a stationed Kia Rhino towing vehicle with registration number GT 6983-12 at Akomadan police check point in the Offinso North of the Ashanti Region.
The bus burst into frames burning Six(6) passengers at the spot leaving Twenty two(22) with various degrees of injuries.

The deceased have been deposited at the Akomadan government hospital and the injured are also receiving treatment in same facility.
Meanwhile, the Akomadan Police Commander, DSP Joseph Gyasi Agyemang has attributed the cause of the accident to speeding and reckless driving on the part of the bus driver.
He said the bus driver ignores all protocols on the road leading to the unfortunate incident.
However, the survived passengers have accused the police of not helping to rescuing the situation as they watched unconcerned to the inferno.
