ASSEMBLY MEMBER BEMOANS ERRATIC WATER SUPPLY IN HIS COMMUNITY*
As the saying goes, water is life but the people of Kabile, a farming community in the Jaman North District of the Bono Region lack this life.
The assembly member for the area, Hon Sie Samuel speaking on a Kumasi base radio station, Silver FM’s morning show monitored by filasconews revealed that, water is rear to his residents.
He told the host of the show, Nana Ampratwum that, the inadequate water supply in the community had make livelihood very uneasy as populace struggle to get water for their house chores.
He said the community is populated over 5,000 people but lacks enough boreholes to cater them.
Hon. Sie disclosed that, numerous efforts to the district assembly for swift intervention are yet to yield resource adding that, his people are really suffering and live is now unbearable as far as water is concern.
“We have one or two but is inadequate due to the populous nature of the community”.
The assembly member is therefore appealing to the afluent hands from the commy, outside and locals to as a matter of need come to their aid by providing them boreholes.
